Remote Service Engineer > Apply Online

Our clients depend on us to be their "go-to" team when they're in a technology jam or planning their IT strategy. To meet this ever-growing need, we're looking for an experienced Remote Service Engineer who possesses a solid balance of technical problem-solving and people skills.

Reporting to the Client Service Manager, the Remote Service Engineer will provide remote management of multiple client networks of various sizes and levels of complexity. Since our clients rely on IT Solutions as their sole technology resource, this position requires handling a full range of tasks, from server troubleshooting to user desktop issues. The Remote Service Engineer must also provide superior service consistently.

The individual we seek enjoys handling challenges of all sizes and finds reward in helping businesses big and small make the most of their technology. In addition to being well organized, efficient, and able to work with limited supervision, the candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Time management ability is a must.

Are you up to the challenge?

Requirements for this full-time position include:

  • A minimum of 2 years in the industry, including at least 1 year in a support environment
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Windows NT/2000/2003 Server and NT/2000/2003 networks, including maintenance and support
  • Microsoft Certified Professional Status
  • Backup Exec experience
  • Must be a team player and have the ability to deal with clients one-on-one via verbal and written communication
