The Challenge
Founded in 2002, Nexus Communications had never had a web presence. The firm had experienced significant success without following the crowd and developing a website out of the gate.
"We held off on developing a website for many reasons," explained Laura Silipigni, office manager at Nexus. "We wanted to have a website that not only provided visitors with valuable information about our agency and our capabilities, but wanted it to also provide value to our clients and for our employee recruitment efforts."
Nexus wanted its new website to be clean, professional and have a technical feel to be attractive to its scientific client base. They also wanted to be able to easily update the website with new case studies, newsletters, press releases, etc.
Additionally, as a marketing firm, Nexus is continually exchanging large files (brochures, scientific posters, PowerPoint presentations, etc.) with its clients. Relying on email that often got bogged down or cumbersome FTP sites in the past, Nexus needed a more efficient way to streamline its communication with its clients.
