BOSTON, MA — May 8, 2026 — This past weekend, the Tech Superpowers, an IT Solutions Company office, transformed into a full-scale startup incubator, with the team proudly sponsoring and hosting. Over the course of 54 hours, founders, developers, marketers, designers, engineers, and operators came together to build companies from scratch, validate ideas, collaborate with mentors, and pitch to judges and the Boston startup community.

Known for supporting growing companies with strategic IT, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and technology solutions, Tech Superpowers, an IT Solutions Company, opened its doors to help create a space where innovation could thrive. Throughout the weekend, participants worked around the clock inside the Tech Superpowers office, turning ideas into functioning businesses in just a few days.
The event brought together 18 teams, each developing and refining startup concepts across consumer products, AI, productivity, gaming, and lifestyle categories. Teams were mentored by experienced founders, operators, and investors before presenting their final pitches on Sunday evening.
The 2026 winning teams included:
- 1st Place: Brush Gloves: Brush Gloves, created a product designed to make brushing dogs’ teeth easier and less stressful for pet owners. The idea focused on simplifying pet dental care through a glove-style brushing experience that feels more natural and comfortable for dogs. The concept stood out for its practicality, strong consumer appeal, and clear market opportunity
- 2nd Place: Gamer Grind: Gamer Grind built a platform focused on helping gamers improve real-world habits and productivity through gamification. The concept aimed to turn everyday goals and routines into engaging progression systems inspired by video games, helping users level up both in-game and in life.
- 3rd Place: Reframe: Third-place winner Reframe developed an AI-powered content engine designed specifically for solo founders and creators. The platform helps users turn long-form ideas into short-form content quickly, streamlining content creation from hours of work into just minutes.
Community Favorite: FreshAlert
FreshAlert earned the Community Favorite award for its smart kitchen-focused concept designed to monitor the freshness of food in your refrigerator. The app aims to reduce food waste by tracking expiration timelines and alerting users before items go bad, combining convenience with sustainability.
In addition to prizes and recognition, winning teams from Startup Weekend gain exposure to mentors, investors, and the broader Techstars network. Top teams also receive opportunities to continue developing their businesses and potentially pitch for future accelerator opportunities and real startup funding through the Techstars ecosystem.
