The event brought together 18 teams, each developing and refining startup concepts across consumer products, AI, productivity, gaming, and lifestyle categories. Teams were mentored by experienced founders, operators, and investors before presenting their final pitches on Sunday evening.

The idea focused on simplifying pet dental care through a glove-style brushing experience that feels more natural and comfortable for dogs. ⚡ 2nd Place: Gamer Grind: Gamer Grind built a platform focused on helping gamers improve real-world habits and productivity through gamification. The concept aimed to turn everyday goals and routines into engaging progression systems inspired by video games, helping users level up both in-game and in life.
⚡ 3rd Place: Reframe: Third-place winner Reframe developed an AI-powered content engine designed specifically for solo founders and creators. The platform helps users turn long-form ideas into short-form content quickly, streamlining content creation from hours of work into just minutes.
💚 Community Favorite: FreshAlert: FreshAlert earned the Community Favorite award for its smart kitchen-focused concept designed to monitor the freshness of food in your refrigerator. The app aims to reduce food waste by tracking expiration timelines and alerting users before items go bad, combining convenience with sustainability.
In addition to prizes and recognition, winning teams from Startup Weekend gain exposure to mentors, investors, and the broader Techstars network. Top teams also receive opportunities to continue developing their businesses and potentially pitch for future accelerator opportunities and real startup funding through the Techstars ecosystem.

2025 was a year of purposeful growth for IT Solutions, made possible by the trust of our clients, partners, and employees across North America. Together, we unified ITS into a multinational IT platform, developed industry-aligned services for healthcare, legal, financial services, and manufacturing, and strengthened our advisory capabilities across security, risk, and compliance. We also continued to invest in our communities, grew through strategic acquisitions, and earned recognition for both performance and culture. These milestones reflect our shared commitment to building a stronger, more resilient future for the organizations we serve and the people behind them.
Building a Platform for Success
In 2025, we continued our evolution into a unified IT platform across the U.S and Canada, designed to support organizations operating in complex, regulated, and fast-changing environments. This transformation was driven by a close look at where we could deliver the greatest value for our clients.
“What we really wanted to do was look at our client segmentation and identify the industries where we already serve the most organizations,” said Tyler Sanders, VP of Solutions Enablement. “From there, we developed more focused offerings to better support those clients and bring greater value to their businesses through technology.”
Healthcare, legal, financial services, and manufacturing emerged as key industries where specialized expertise, security, and compliance are critical. In response, we expanded our Total IT program to deliver faster response times, deeper expertise in line-of-business applications, and strategic advisory support aligned to real operational needs.
“For these industries, it’s critical that technology is aligned to business challenges and well adopted,” Tyler added. “Our goal is to help clients build technology roadmaps that support growth, efficiency, and long-term stability.”
Helping Organizations Stay Ahead of Risk and Regulation
Security and compliance remained central to our strategy throughout 2025. We strengthened our proactive technology alignment process, auditing client environments against hundreds of best practices to identify risk, close gaps, and continuously improve security posture.
“We take a proactive approach by identifying where risk exists and developing strategic roadmaps to improve security over time,” Tyler explained. “That includes aligning technology to both best practices and industry-specific regulatory requirements.”
To further support regulated organizations, we expanded our vCISO offerings to provide structured guidance on governance, compliance, and risk management.
“This program was developed specifically to help regulated industries understand how to become compliant and how to stay compliant,” Tyler said. “It includes vulnerability management, penetration testing, and ongoing consulting and governance advice to protect both internal data and external systems.”
As we expanded our services and footprint, we also invested in how users engage with ITS online. In 2025, we completed a comprehensive rebrand and launched a new website designed to reflect our multinational presence and improve usability.
“We’ve grown both organically and through acquisition, so it was important that our brand reflected who we are today,” said Rob Bois, VP of Marketing. “We wanted something that felt modern and approachable while clearly representing our platform.”
Our new website is built on modern technology to deliver faster performance, simplified navigation, and easier access to support and resources.
“Whether someone is a client accessing the support portal or a prospect exploring how we can help their business, it’s much easier to find what they need,” Rob added.
We also expanded the Resource Center and leaned into producing video content to help clients and prospects navigate complex topics, particularly in security and compliance.
“There’s a real need for education in this space,” Rob said. “We’re investing in content that helps decode complex concepts and positions ITS as a trusted source of insight, not just a service provider.”
While expanding our platform, we remained committed to making a meaningful impact beyond technology. Throughout 2025, our teams across North America, with the support and leadership of our Human Resources Team and Employee Engagement Committee, supported initiatives focused on sustainability, wellness, and giving back.
